After three long years from the city he grew up in, Lloyd Bannings returns in order to follow his late brother’s footsteps and join the Crossbell Police Department. When he finally arrives to find he’s placed in the Special Support Section, a department that is a new one, which handles little-known requests and other odd tasks. His new team comprises Elie MacDowell (granddaughter of the mayor); Randy Orlando (ex-soldier who’s womanizing) along with Tio Plato (young technology genius).
Even though their organization is mocked by the media and looked down at by the rest part of the CPD, Lloyd and his group of colleagues are determined to make their city a better place. When they are doing this, however they gradually come in contact with the corruption that is sweeping their town. They aren’t aware of how wide the Shadows of Crossbell City reach…
